Back in March of 2024, we heard of a very special water, with some even more special inhabitants... The number one target was definitely the lakes big catfish, which measured just shy of 2.5m long and was estimated to weigh around 220lb! Alongside this was a big Beluga Sturgeon estimated to be in the 150lb bracket as well as two Diamondback Sturgeon and three Mandarin Catfish. We knew it would be a tricky week with the huge numbers of crayfish and mussel beds present, but would we come out on top, or would The Lake of Monsters get the better of us...?
