Many anglers see clear or crystal floats as a recent invention. It ís not the case. Some of the top guys were using them in the late sixties and early seventies, although they were known then as 'straws'. As the name suggests, they were made from drinking straws. Today's 'clears' are a touch more accurately made using high precision tubing and are very user friendly.
Similar to the waggler with an insert for sensitivity. 'Dia' 5mm.
